The Next Step...How to Tell Guys

Now that you've told your girl friends that you have Turner Syndrome, it is time to take the next step and tell your guy friends.
To me, telling my guy friends was actually easier than telling my girl friends (it may be the opposite for you). I think that telling guys is easier because they are less likely to want to go in depth about what Turners is like a girl would. My advice is to leave out the things like not getting your period and not being able to have kids because that is an awkward topic to talk about with guys.
It is of course, not ok to leave out the not being able to have kids when you talk to a guy that you are serious about and are in a serious relationship with. This is when telling guys gets hard because if a guy is going to want to marry you, that obviously comes with having kids and your only option of having kids may be adoption or surrogacy (but that depends on your own individual circumstances and the option that you choose to use). But, if you plan on going as far as marriage with a guy, then you have to fill him in about what he is getting into by marrying you.
In my personal experience, it is best to be up front and tell the guy everything about Turner Syndrome, don't feel like anything is too personal to tell them, even if they don't ask questions, they have them because they care about you, and they may not want to ask the questions on their mind because they may feel it is too personal of a question to ask. So, if you're ready to tell your guy, be open and up front and tell them everything, because they want to know!
